Who, What, Where?

In belgium, small as it may be, a mother and daughter share a passion for well made clothes. Mariette Creemers decided, as she became 50, that it was time for a change. The moment had come to fulfill a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship. As a frequent internet shopper and blogger for several websites (including her own Ella & Louise), Patricia Goijens infected her mother with her inernetminded spirits. The mother-daughter team started brainstorming and was convinced that online shopping offers both the consumer and distributor a lot of advantages. Lily and the Lady was born.

Mariette and Patricia chose their brands the way they buy their own clothes: with intense enthusiasm. Because a lot of women want to be sweet and romantic on one day and practical and professional the next, they decided to include something for both worlds.

For this reason, Lily and the Lady chooses not to sell items that are too “now”, but prefers slow fashion that will stay with you for more than one season. In our opinion, basic does not mean boring. An elegant cut, unusual print or asymmetric detail: timeless fashion càn be classic and special at the same time!
